I am proud and  happy to announce that Photovillage is now an official Cosina Voigtlander Distributor for the US market.   This means Photovillage has the full support of the Cosina factory, including access to the newest Voigtlander products,  parts, and expertise to repair Voigtlander products.   Accordingly, Voigtlander products under the Photovillage warranty now have the Voigtlander USA factory warranty,  unlike the vast majority of advertised Voigtlander goods which are grey market imports. 
Not every repair facility knows the new Cosina Voigtlanders.  Only Voigtlander distributors have full access to factory repair parts and factory repair manuals.   How will a grey market dealer be able to get needed  repair parts? 
New Cosina Voigtlander USA Products are guaranteed one year from the date of shipment to you,  for defects in materials,   workmanship, and mechanical working order. Not included is anything dropped or otherwise damaged by ANY sort of accident or abuse. This includes inadvertently poking your finger thru the shutter while trying to load film, and jamming the shutter by trying to advance the film while the shutter was still open from the previous exposure. The warranty covers parts and labor,  NOT shipping or insurance which is the owner's responsibility. The warranty is void IF,  in our sole opinion,  the item was damaged by a previous repair attempt. The Voigtlander warranty extends to the original purchaser only.  Customers who live outside the USA must ship items back to Photovillage for warranty service.
For Photovillage supplied Voigtlander sales, the top half of the warranty card must be mailed in within 30 days of the sales date with a copy of the sales receipt, or the warranty is void.   Warranty cards are verified with dealers upon receipt and all serial numbers are recorded to insure items are from our inventory.  If you have a problem with your new Cosina Voigtlander product,  email before shipping the item to confirm attention is needed.  
Rush repairs are not an option, warranty or otherwise.  For your information, not all repair shops are familiar with the new Cosina Voigtlander cameras and lenses. Our repair technicians are probably the most experienced in the US for Cosina Voigtlander.  While any camera or lens can fail,  the Voigtlander repair rate is small compared to the overall number of sales.  
Owners  pay shipping and insurance on warranty repairs.    The shipping liability is with the shipper and their insurance.    If anything is damaged or lost in shipment, it is the owner's responsibility to deal with the insurance and or the shipper. Registered mail may take a bit longer for out of the country repairs, but may well be the safest. For return shipping within the US, a $15 charge will be incurred, payable before items is repaired or returned.
Most Voigtlander warranty repairs will be shipped back within 6 weeks after receipt,  however some repairs can take longer if parts are not immediately available.   
Honoring THK or Schneider Voigtlander USA Warranties:  It has been almost two years since the last Cosina Voigtlander US distributor.  There may be some old stock on dealer shelves with the warranty cards from the previous distributors.   Photovillage will honor Schneider or THK Voigtlander USA warranties providing the customer.

1. Emails first to obtain  warranty repair authorization 
2. Sends the original warranty card,  and a copy of the bill of sale less than one year old
3. Includes payment by check for return insured shipping

Beware of sellers providing warranty cards who were never Schneider or THK dealers, those warranty cards will not be honored because they were not authorized dealers. Foreign warranties for Voigtlander products sold in other countries will not be honored.
