Announcing Voigltänder new lenses
NOKTON 35mm F1.2 Aspherical SE E-mount
PART CODE : BA355C
EAN CODE : 4002451003032
Made exclusively designed for full frame Sony E-mount cameras.
The NOKTON designation is only given to high-speed lenses in the Voigtländer lineup with a
maximum aperture of F1.5 or faster. When the first NOKTON was released in the 1950’s, it was
positioned as a lens that enabled images to be captured even in low light. However, with constantly
improving imaging sensor sensitivity, the chief advantage of a high-speed lens today, is the ability
to use as a means of photographic expression the out-of-focus Bokeh created by opening the
aperture wide.
Our three new models which will be released, are fast manual focus lenses optimized for the
imaging sensors of Sony mirrorless cameras and specialized for taking still pictures using
manual-focus.
While having a large aperture of F1.2, it realizes a compact size by removing the click stop
switching mechanism, which is useful for video shooting. The stylish designed full metal helicoid
ring employs a simple yet precise -looking flat knurling process.
This lens enhances maneuverability by cutting grooves which is orthogonally crossed against flat knurling
in order to grip the lens without slipping.
These lenses are manual focus and manual aperture designs, but also features electrical contacts
that enable the lens settings at image capture to be included in the Exif information of the image
data.
Furthermore, they are installed with a distance encoder to enable support for 5-axis image
stabilization on bodies that have this feature. Focus peaking during manual focusing is also
supported.
You can enjoy photo shooting with manual focus while realizing very out of focus Bokeh, which is a
distinctive characteristics of large aperture/full frame size lenses. Aperture has 1/3 click stops.
Each model comes with standard lens shade.
